Groupon Wheel Clay Class

For those who would like to give the pottery wheel a try, whether it's for the first time, need a refresher, or just to cross it off your bucket list.
Groupon must be purchased prior to booking. Each person on groupon must reserve a space.
● Designed to give you a feel for the pottery wheel.
● Clay, glaze and firing fees included.
● Bring your own towel/apron
● If you have a Groupon voucher it must be provided at time of class--printed or on phone app.
● Ages 12 and above.
● Each student will have the opportunity to create one to two pots. •You can add decorations and brush on glaze.
•Master pieces will be ready to pickup three weeks after class.
• Masks are required.

6 Week Wheel Class Beginner

2 hrs··$195

Perfect for beginning and intermediate wheel throwers
● Learn the basics of pottery wheel
● Learn how to throw different forms on a wheel, alter, trim and glaze
● Students must provide clay (available at the studio or locally at Highwater Clay)
and basic pottery tool kit (can be purchased at MCS Clay Studios, JoAnn’s, Michaels or on Amazon)
● Classes include open studio during times when classes are not in session--check class schedule for times.
● Firing fees and glaze fees are included (Firing fees and glaze fees will be charged for pieces made outside the studio and brought in by students).
● Students are responsible for cleaning wheels and work areas after each class.

Absolutely loved my 3-hour pottery class at MCS Clay Studios! Tina was outstanding, funny, light-hearted, patient, and so knowledgeable. She made the whole experience feel relaxed and joyful. I had such a great time and can’t wait to come back!

My boyfriend and I took the three-hour pottery class and had such a great time! The instructor Tina was kind, helpful, and made the whole experience feel fun and approachable, even for beginners like us. We appreciated how hands-on the class was, and we loved that they took pictures during the session (such a nice touch!). The space had a creative and welcoming vibe with the dog, and we left feeling proud of what we made. I’m definitely interested in taking one of their pottery courses in the future. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique date or creative experience!

This was a birthday gift I enjoyed greatly. Tina our instructor was wonderful. She was freindly, funny and very helpful and patient with us beginners. She shared her vast knowledge of techniques and answered any questions we had.
I would recommend Tina and this studio to anyone who enjoys hands on experiences. It is especially fun when you go with someone. So grab a partner(s) and go get dirty.

My mother and I bought this as a birthday gift to my grandmother with the idea that I would go with her. We had THE BEST time! The instructor is not only very knowledgeable, but she came around & helped everyone! Not only was she super sweet, but funny too! She got the whole group laughing and talking together! She even did a special treat for my grandmother's birthday, which touched me to the core as she had no prior knowledge of it. 10 out 10 recommend!
