Groupon Wheel Clay Class

For those who would like to give the pottery wheel a try, whether it's for the first time, need a refresher, or just to cross it off your bucket list.
Groupon must be purchased prior to booking. Each person on groupon must reserve a space.
● Designed to give you a feel for the pottery wheel.
● Clay, glaze and firing fees included.
● Bring your own towel/apron
● If you have a Groupon voucher it must be provided at time of class--printed or on phone app.
● Ages 12 and above.
● Each student will have the opportunity to create one to two pots. •You can add decorations and brush on glaze.
•Master pieces will be ready to pickup three weeks after class.
• Masks are required.

6 Week Wheel Class Beginner

2 hrs$195

Perfect for beginning and intermediate wheel throwers
● Learn the basics of pottery wheel
● Learn how to throw different forms on a wheel, alter, trim and glaze
● Students must provide clay (available at the studio or locally at Highwater Clay)
and basic pottery tool kit (can be purchased at MCS Clay Studios, JoAnn’s, Michaels or on Amazon)
● Classes include open studio during times when classes are not in session--check class schedule for times.
● Firing fees and glaze fees are included (Firing fees and glaze fees will be charged for pieces made outside the studio and brought in by students).
● Students are responsible for cleaning wheels and work areas after each class.

My husband and I had an amazing date night at MCS studios. Tina did a wonderful job instructing the class. I definitely recommend this class and Tina if you want a nice outing.

All I can say is, SO MUCH FUN!! This was truly an amazing experience! I got to make a bowl and a cup. Lisa was great, she walks you through every step, jumps in to save the day when you mess up, and her humor is great! Wonderful person, wonderful place! My friend and I will be returning to take a more advanced class and challenge ourselves!
